Dr. Stephanie Korman is Harbor Chiropractic’s amazing Palmetto clinic physician. She spent most of her life in the Midwest, particularly Wisconsin, and moved to Florida after graduating from chiropractic college. Dr. Stephanie knew she wanted to pursue a science and healthcare-based career in high school and began working towards a biology degree at the University of Wisonsin-Madison. She spent the first and a half of undergrad learning about various healthcare fields, never finding the one that felt “right” – the one that fueled her passion.
After suffering a lower back injury and seeing a chiropractor, Dr. Stephanie felt at home. She became a regular patient and quickly fell in love with the way chiropractic care alleviated her discomfort and educated her on why she experienced pain in the first place. After completing her undergrad program at UW-Madison, Dr. Stephanie jumped straight into her chiropractic graduate program at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
Dr. Stephanie is well-versed in a variety of adjusting and soft tissue techniques, including use of an Activator, flexion-distraction, Palmer Package (Diversified and Thompson), McKenzie Method, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and Advanced Soft Tissue Techniques (Cupping, Gua Sha, and Graston). She looks forward to helping patients regain function, range of motion, and feel better in their daily lives.
